PIT ~= AAPL and my self-loathing betting strategies
I’m going for the Steelers +3 today. I’m not betting with my heart, because I really am not a fan of Ben Rothleisraper. I’m betting on them because the last 3 times I’ve bet against Big Ben, I’ve gotten pwnt. He’s big, he’s fast, he’s accurate, and he’s got mettle in the crunch. I’m also going for the Over, and then some crazy parlay involving longest TD, longest FG, and a score in the first 6.5 minutes. But that’s beside the point.
I bought AAPL at some point last year. I really was avoiding it, because I fundamentally hate the way they do business. It’s gotten downright Evil by this stage. HOWEVER, it turns out that betting on Evil can be pretty profitable. Yes, I’ve discarded my values and morals when it comes to inve^H^H^H^Hbetting, and gone straight for the ROI.
It amuses me how similar it felt to place the Steelers bet today, and to place the AAPL stock order last year.
